Students Decide on End of Year Attitude
By Danny Redell
With the last day of school coming up, teachers are always curious to see if their students are just going to give up at the end of the year, or if they will have a class that keeps pushing until the last bell rings. Students are also deciding if they are finished with school work or if they want to study for the final exams in early June. Students who are considering giving up will have a rude awakening when they take their first final test. Students who want to study hard and push themselves until the end of the year and work hard for their final exams will be prepared correctly.
When Kendra Betz , sophomore, said,” I am going to study for the finals because it is only a couple of finals and it will be worth it in the long run.” Betz thinks she is going to do well on her finals. She plans on working hard and pushing herself until the last day of school.
Matt Derr , a senior, plans on graduating this year. Derr said,” I am going to shut down just like I always have. Anyone who has had education history with me will understand that I show up late, do bad, and just barely scrape by. I hope it works out for me.” Even with that attitude, Derr still thinks that he is going to do well enough to pass and to graduate.
