Ironmen 24/7 aired its final show of the 2009 – 2010 school year on Thursday, June 3. As in past years as DTV News, the Ironmen 24/7 version paid tribute to this year’s graduating class. It featured a segment on statistics about the seniors, a farewell segment to the tune of Freebird, as well as pictures of 2010 class members that served as transitions between show segments.

The final segment of the year had a new twist. Traditionally, DHS students are asked to sing pieces of a song picked by the 247 staff. The singing is then pieced together to form the complete song. Brock Perles and Bill DiFillipo decided to change things up a bit. This year students were asked to lip-sync to We Are the World. This enabled students to concentrate less on singing and more on their interpretation of the song.

Ironmen 24/7 ended its first season in our new format as a convergence of print, web and video.
